Every fact Renewly pulls from a contract is traced back to its exact clause and page. We held this FAQ to the same standard — pick a section below.
What is Renewly?
Renewly is a contract renewal management platform. It centralizes your vendor contracts, reads them with AI to pull out the important dates and terms, and alerts you before a renewal or price increase catches you off guard.
Who is Renewly for?
Businesses juggling multiple vendor contracts — software subscriptions, service providers, suppliers — who want a single source of truth instead of digging through email threads and PDFs when a renewal deadline sneaks up.
How is Renewly different from a spreadsheet or calendar reminders?
A spreadsheet only knows what a human typed into it, and it goes stale the moment a contract changes. Renewly reads the actual contract document, extracts the terms itself, and shows you exactly which clause and page each fact came from — so you're never trusting a number nobody can trace back to the source.
How does Renewly extract contract terms?
Upload a contract and Renewly's AI reads it to identify the renewal date, notice period, auto-renewal clauses, pricing, and termination conditions. Every extracted term links back to the exact clause and page it came from, so you can verify it against the original document yourself.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
Because every fact is tied to its source clause, you can always click through and check it against the actual contract text — you're never just trusting a dashboard number with no way to verify it.
How do renewal alerts work?
Once a contract's terms are tracked, Renewly sends alerts ahead of the renewal or notice-period date, giving you time to renegotiate, cancel, or shop around before an auto-renewal locks you in.
Can Renewly tell me if a renewal quote overcharges me?
Yes. Upload a renewal quote alongside the original contract and Renewly compares them, flagging price increases or discrepancies with the specific clause or page as evidence — useful ammunition if you want to push back with the vendor.
What is Sarah?
Sarah is Renewly's built-in AI assistant, available to help answer questions about your contracts directly inside the app.
How do I add a contract?
Upload your contract document and Renewly gets to work extracting the key terms — no manual data entry required.
How long does setup take?
Most people can upload their first contract and see extracted terms within minutes — no lengthy onboarding required.
Can I try Renewly before creating an account?
Yes — the free Quote Analyzer lets you upload a contract and a renewal quote and get an instant overcharge analysis, no account needed.
What plans does Renewly offer?
Renewly offers three plans:
- Free ($0/mo) — up to 3 contracts, 1 user
- Starter ($29/mo) — up to 25 contracts, 3 users
- Growth ($89/mo) — unlimited contracts, 10 users
Is there a free plan?
Yes — the Free plan is a good fit for businesses just getting started with a small number of contracts.
Which plan is right for me?
If you're tracking a handful of contracts on your own, Free is enough to get started. Once you're managing more than a few contracts or working with a team, Starter or Growth removes the caps and adds room for collaborators.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation is self-serve from your billing settings, and takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no need to contact support.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Refund requests are reviewed by our team — just reach out to support@renewly.net.
Is my contract data secure?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and every request is scoped to your organization so other customers can never see your contracts.
Do you sell or share my data with third parties?
No — your contract data is never sold or shared with third parties.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
We follow SOC 2–aligned security practices, though we are not currently SOC 2 certified.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Contact support@renewly.net to request deletion of your account and data, and our team will handle it for you.
How do I get help?
Email us anytime at support@renewly.net and a real person will get back to you — this isn't a bot-only inbox.
Is Sarah a replacement for human support?
No — Sarah is great for quick questions about your contracts inside the app, but our support team is always available by email for anything else.
